Rugged Peak, Timpa Petrolla, Basilicata - Giclée Print on Hahnemühle Photo Rag paper

Timpa Petrolla is a rock formation in the Basilicata region, located between the territories of Montalbano, Craco (the Ghost town) and Pisticci. The rock fragment, once under water, emerged from the sea and was brought to the surface following the erosion of the area. I took this photographs during a warm early summer day. I loved how the path on the bright yellow hay led my view directly towards the rock formation.
